This London based company specialise in supplying a wide range of audio lighting and AV solutions across various entertainment sectors and they now require a new member to join them in the role of Business Development Manager and be part of their successful team. You will be part of a growing and established company that has a strong industry name and prides its self on being truly customer focused.
For this position you will naturally have a strong level of client facing and sales experience .You will be able to supplement this with in depth knowledge of the production equipment used within the live events and broadcast sectors covering audio ,lighting, AV ,media servers ,etc. You are someone who is comfortable working to targets and you have the track record to back this up. You are also sensitive to the relevant financial nuances such as budget, potential profit from any new opportunity and you will be able to communicate at all levels with relevant internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple tasks within your workload and meet tight deadlines. You will have an awareness of the aspects of health and safety related to the industry and of course you will be organised, motivated and be able to prioritise a busy work schedule.
The role will be equally split based at the company’s London office and visiting clients on site. You will be responsible for winning new business focusing on the organisations wet and dry hire service, targeting the areas of event production, B2B hire and broadcasting, dealing with all enquiries and managing the client’s specification. Working closely with the various internal teams you will look for ways to grow each client account ensuring that you always have a clear understanding of each brief covering areas such as scope of work, budgets and time scales. You will be able to leverage your current industry experience to add value to each enquiry, keep abreast of market developments and provide regular forecasts to management
