Job Description

A London based Electrical, Audio Visual Installation and Integration Company are searching for a motivated individual for  role in the high-end residential Smart home system sector. The projects will involve a range of specialist networks, software and hardware technologies across multiple sites and therefore will require attention to detail. They are growing rapidly and have a new opportunity for a Crestron/Lutron Programmer who is driven, enthusiastic and knowledgeable candidate. Must have experience with  programming lighting / HVAC and door entry ideally with, Crestron, Lutron,Control 4, Savant and KNX. Their projects involve all aspects of Installation from Design, Co-ordination, Infrastructure installation, Integration and Commissioning for the electrical, data, IRS, Smart home systems, lighting control, HVAC and door entry integration. The applicant must have a good knowledge and experience of smart home systems and Integration, electrical knowledge would also be an advantage. The highest level of punctuality, determination, presentation and commitment to the Company and projects is paramount.

The role will be on site commissioning and off site Programming and most of the work is in London.  

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional AV industry design and programming experience
Primary responsibilities:
•Posses thorough and comprehensive knowledge of AV control systems and design
•Comfortable with interacting and understanding clients needs and managing expectations
•Strong grasp of Audio & Video including signal flow, equipment functionality and programming
•Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients and other trades Experienced in coordinating with audio visual engineers and customers to develop touch panel designs and solutions.
•Ability to trouble-shoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems.
•Energetic, organized, able to multi task and who can work independently with little supervision
•Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot and resolve service issues related to Integrated AV systems
•Hands on experience with deploying/testing code remotely and on jobsites
