This organisation is an established market leader within the world of entertainment and they are experiencing a strong period of growth which means they now require a passionate and dynamic person to join their team as a Moving Lights Technician. You will be part of a friendly team and supportive company who are involved with a wide scale of projects both nationally and internationally.
It is essential that you are familiar with the workings of moving light fixtures such Varilite, Martin and that you are able to test and maintain then to a high standard with a strong attention to detail. You have experience of working in a technical production warehouse or similar environment, you are someone who is proactive, can work using their initiative and in a team environment. You have a good depth of knowledge with moving lights and LED fixtures and you enjoy keeping abreast of developments within the industry.
The purpose of the role is to ensure all moving light fixtures are ready for the various projects the company is involved with. You will contribute to the team’s responsibilities of testing, prepping and maintaining the moving light and LED inventory making sure that the work is done in line with the company’s processes, procedures and H&S standards. You will also provide local and visiting production crew with technical assistance, sub hires and prep sheet information making sure that everything is done to comply with the company’s level of service and delivery.
