An established production company now requires an experienced and knowledgeable person to fill the role of Rigging Director to help guide and develop their growing rigging department. Collectively the organisation is going through a strong period of growth and the rigging department will naturally play a key function in this as they continue to cement their reputation in the world of event production.
Naturally you will have a strong event production background and you will be familiar with the relevant safety and regulatory standards in the aforementioned regions. This will also be supported by your experience in sales and operational procedures within these regions. Your CAD knowledge will be to a high standard and you will be qualified to at least NRC2 level. Within the live event environment you will be familiar with weight loading calculations for ground support and overhead structures, permanent control systems and parameters for dynamic rigging. If you can wrap this up with a strong level of business acumen then you could be the person they are looking for.
Your position will cover activities in the UK, Western Europe and the Middle East and you will be responsible for technical sales, operations, and business growth in these regions to ensure the department contributes to the continued expansion of the company. You will oversee the internal and external rigging functions making sure that new site surveys are processed correctly and that all dry hire activities are delivered to the required standard too contribute to revenue growth.
