A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse/Driver Technician to work in a well-established Technical Events company in London. As a Warehouse/Driver Technician you will need to prep, test and maintain equipment within the Slough Warehouse, supporting the driver technician team and the warehouse management with the daily technical operation. This role is to start immediately with a competitive salary dependent on experience. You may currently be working in AV, preferably in a warehouse based role and now looking to take the next step in your career. You will need to be a key member within the team.

This role would suit a Warehouse/Driver Technician who has at least 3 years experience in AV, who has a great understanding of equipment and their processes. As part of a team you will be responsible for the daily preparation, delivery, set up and de-rig of all audio visual solutions throughout various locations. You will be client facing, well presented and be able to deal with issues that may arise at short notice. This role will be based in a warehouse, you must be able to work independently as well in a team, you will also need to be flexible and adapt to all scenarios. You will also need to support their extensive in-house Hotel Operations and Large Production events with frequent equipment deliveries/collections both in London and throughout the UK.
Working on a shift basis, you will need to prepare audio visual equipment in the slough warehouse and load vehicles for distribution to venues, As a Warehouse Technician/Driver you will be responsible for testing all equipment prior to delivery to ensure everything is in good order. You will need to support the Technical Management team with day to day operations. Along with your team, you will be expected to cover the call out facility out of hours and weekends. This will be alternated between the team.

This company would prefer for the ideal Warehouse/Driver Technician to have at least 3 years warehouse based experience, have a great knowledge of stock management systems, be a team player, have great communication skills and to also be flexible. They would also like the Warehouse/Driver technician demonstrate priority planning and organisational skills. Attention to detail would be an advantage for the successful candidate.
